PROCURA is a project promoted by the Regional Government of Castile and León focused on innovation in social services through Public Procurement of Innovation. The project fosters collaboration between government agencies, businesses, universities, and social organizations to identify real needs and transform public services.

• Improve care for the elderly and those with disabilities by developing technological and social solutions that promote personal autonomy, independent living, and integrated social and healthcare.

1. Identifying the needs of older and dependent individuals through participatory processes.
2. Analyzing the challenges of the social and healthcare system. 
3. Conducting preliminary market consultations.
4. Designing Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) processes. 
5. Developing prototypes and innovative technological solutions. 
6. Implementing pilot tests in real-world settings (homes and care facilities).
7. Evaluating results in real-world use contexts. 
8. Validating and improving the developed solutions. 
9. Transferring knowledge among participating entities. 
10. Disseminating results at the regional and European levels.
