EIAROB (Ambient Intelligence Ecosystem for Supporting Long-Term Care at Home through the Use of Social Robots) is a technological innovation project aimed at improving the autonomy, quality of life, and well-being of elderly and dependent individuals. The initiative combines ambient intelligence, social robotics, monitoring systems, telepresence, and mechatronic solutions to support long-term care both in homes and in residential care facilities. The project is developed using an open innovation and co-creation methodology with users, professionals, and social service providers, allowing for the design of solutions tailored to the real needs of individuals and promoting their continued independence in living environments.

1. Development of an ambient intelligence ecosystem capable of monitoring activities, generating recommendations, and issuing alerts to improve the safety and well-being of users.
2. Integration of social robots as support tools for care, communication, leisure, cognitive stimulation, and entertainment activities.
3. Design and development of mechatronic and robotic solutions to facilitate mobility and movement within the home.
4. Creation of an experimental robotics observatory for independent living in Castile and León.
5. Implementation of co-creation and experimentation processes in real-world settings with users, professionals, and social organizations.
6. Evaluation of the usability, acceptance, and impact of the developed solutions to improve their adaptation to user needs.
7. Research and knowledge transfer in the field of social robotics applied to long-term care.
