Description

ONEP Inclusive is a European initiative aimed at boosting the economy and creating jobs in cross-border rural areas between Spain and Portugal. The project promotes the creation of new business ventures in sectors such as rural tourism, local services, and organic production, with the goal of improving the employability of people with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion.

Goals

  • Promote job creation in cross-border rural areas.
  • Improve the employment prospects of people with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion.
  • Boost social entrepreneurship and the inclusive economy. 
  • Foster new sustainable business opportunities.
  • Strengthen the competitiveness of social economy enterprises.

Activities

  1. Providing knowledge to social enterprises to develop viable and sustainable economic activities.
  2. Promoting entrepreneurship based on the socioeconomic realities of the cross-border region.
  3. Identifying and developing new market niches in accessible tourism, local services, and the organic market.
  4. Supporting the creation of business initiatives that respect the social and environmental context.
  5. Improving access to employment for people with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion.
  6. Promoting the creation of inclusive businesses in rural areas.
