Integr@TENCIÓN I is a cross-border cooperation project aimed at improving social and healthcare services for older adults and people with disabilities through the use of assistive technologies. The project develops an innovative model based on the creation of a Unified Access Point that provides guidance, information, and connections to users with technological solutions tailored to their needs. Furthermore, it seeks to integrate the existing range of independent living support technologies to facilitate access, promote personal autonomy, and improve quality of life in the home environment.

Goals

  • Facilitate access to assistive technologies for older adults and dependent individuals.
  • Improve personal autonomy and the ability to remain in their homes.
  • Create an information and guidance system on available technological solutions.
  • Promote collaboration among social, healthcare, and technological organizations. 
  • Foster innovation in person-centered care.

Activities

  1. Design of a Unified Access Point for information and guidance on assistive technologies. 
  2. Identification and compilation of existing technological solutions in the field of dependency.
  3. Creation of a catalog of technologies that support independent living.
  4. Piloting of technological solutions in real-world care settings.
  5. Development of connection mechanisms between users, professionals, and technology providers.
  6. Evaluation of the model's impact on the quality of life of users.
