Integr@tención II is a project to build upon and continue the Integr@tención model, aiming to create a Unified Access Point for assistive technology solutions for older adults, people with disabilities, or those with chronic illnesses. The project focuses on facilitating the identification, selection, and adoption of technologies tailored to people's actual needs, promoting person-centered care and improving independent living at home. Through a catalog of assistive technology solutions and a social innovation approach, it seeks to improve accessibility, the efficiency of the care system, and the connection between users, professionals, and technology companies.

Goals

  • Facilitate access for older adults to assistive technology solutions tailored to their individual needs
  • Improve decision-making in the selection of technologies that support independent living
  • Promote the continuity of the Integr@tención model by building on previous results
  • Foster collaboration among government agencies, social service organizations, and the technology sector.
  • Encourage innovation in person-centered social and healthcare.

Activities

  1. Creation of a Unified Access Point for guidance on assistive technologies
  2. Development of a catalog of technological solutions adapted to support needs
  3. Evaluation and piloting of innovative technological solutions aimed at older adults and dependent individuals.
  4. Implementation of an Impact Hub to connect users, professionals, and companies in the technology sector.
  5. Improvement of the person-centered care model through the use of assistive technologies.
  6. Transfer and scaling up of results from the previous Integr@tención project.
